Fall 2021 TV Anime The Fruit of Evolution Celebrates World Gorilla Day with Adorable Dance PV

Yoshiaki Okumura (Monsuno)-directed fantasy will be simulcast on Crunchyroll

World Gorilla Day was established by the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International to protect wild gorillas, which are in danger of extinction, to preserve forests and other natural habitats, and to strengthen appreciation for gorillas and other great apes on September 24, 2017. To celebrate the day, the official website for the fall 2021 TV anime The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made posted a special dance PV for its official theme song "Shinka→LOVE♡."

The heartfelt song is sung by Kana Hanazawa, who voices the anime's main heroine Saria after evolution, and Tetsu Inada, who voices Saria before evolution in her gorilla form. In the PV, Saria before evolution performed by Inada himself and TV Tokyo's banana employee Nanana show off their adorable dance moves together.

The Fruit of Evolution novel's original illustrator U35 (Umiko) also posted an illustration of Saria on Twitter for World Gorilla Day.

The TV anime adaptation of Muku's fantasy light novel The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made is set to premiere on TV Tokyo on October 4, 2021, and will be also simulcast on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. Yoshiaki Okumura (Monsuno) serves as director at HOTLINE.
