New characters and more teased ahead of 2022 premiere

Following up on the reveal in July, we can now see more of the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film ahead of its planned 2022 premiere thanks to today's panel at New York Comic Con. Goku VA Masako Nozawa and Piccolo VA Toshio Furukawa have already finished their work on the production, and Toei Animation shared a new visual for a peek at new characters Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

While we wait for the visual to go live on the official channels, check out some more new and returning characters—as well as the all-new CG-animated style—in the teaser below.

As previously reported, series creator Akira Toriyama is heavily involved in Super Hero, and was already writing the script for it while the last film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, was still in production.
