Interoffice romance is a hectic proposition in the non-credit opening animation sequence for My Senpai is Annoying (known in Japan as Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi), a currently broadcasting TV anime based on the office romantic comedy manga by Shiromanta about a tiny office lady who just wants to be treated liked a grown-up by her crush.
The OP animation video (below) features the official opening theme for the series, entitled "Annoying! Sunsun Week!", which is performed in-character by Futaba Igarashi (CV: Tomori Kusunoki), Toko Sakurai (CV: Saori Hayami), Natsumi Kurobe (CV: Reina Aoyama), and Mona Tsukishiro (CV: Aoi Koga).
The original My Senpai is Annoying web comic is serialized in Pixiv's comic POOL digital manga magazine, and an English language version is also published in print by Seven Seas Entertainment. Funimation describes the story of the series as follows:
Being seen as a full-fledged business woman isn’t easy for Futaba Igarashi when her senpai, Harumi, treats her like a kid. Days for her are never typical, at work or outside of it, with all the antics going on in her life. As mishaps ensue, she’ll find herself growing closer with her loudmouth senpai. Maybe Futaba feels more than she lets on, but one thing’s for sure: she’s still annoyed!
The My Senpai is Annoying TV anime is directed by Ryota Ito and features animation production by Doga Kobo. The series is currently broadcasting in Japan on TOKYO MX and BS11, with additional broadcasts to follow later on Tochigi TV, Hokkaido Television Broadcasting, Animax, and TUF TV-U Fukushima.
