The prequel film opens in Japan on December 24

The second major character in the upcoming JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 anime film has finally got her voice, with the official website for the anime franchise announcing today that Kana Hanazawa, known for voicing Nadeko Sengoku in Monogatari, will be voicing Rika Orimoto, Yuta's childhood friend who appears alongside him in the teaser poster for the film. Rika's character art for herself and her curse was released and can be seen below.
MAPPA returns to produce the animation on JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, with director Sunghoo Park at the helm and Toho distributing the film in theaters in Japan. The anime film was announced at the end of the JUJUTSU KAISEN TV anime series. Previously, a teaser trailer and main visual had been released for the movie that is scheduled to open on December 24.
