Kenjiro Tsuda to Voice The Protagonist Lucius in Thermae Romae Novae Anime for Netflix
The new anime will be streamed worldwide in 2022

During his "Tsudaken Time" session on Netflix Festival Japan 2021, voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda (Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!) announced that he will voice the protagonist Lucius Modestus in Thermae Romae Novae, the upcoming new web anime adaptation of Mari Yamazaki's Thermae Romae comedy manga. In the previous TV anime series aired in 2012, the character was voiced by FROGMAN.

The production of the new anime series was announced just one year ago, at NETFLIX Anime Festival 2020 held on October 27, 2020. Based on Yamazaki's original manga, the new anime will also include newly-written episodes by the author. NAZ (ID:INVADED) works on production for its 2022 wroldwide premiere on Netflix.
Tsuda is also cast as Johnny Bolt in the forthcoming anime adaptation of Mark Millar and Leinil Yu's graphic novel Super Crooks, which will be also streamed worldwide on Netflix on November 25, 2021.
