Theatergoers will receive a set of three film-style bookmarks

As a special event to mark the end of the tenth anniversary year of the release of the 2010 film The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, a special one-day-only screening of the film is set to be held at Tokorozawa Sakura Town Japan Pavilion Hall B in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture twice (12:00/15:30) on December 18, 2021. The press release writes, "This is a project to give fans who thought they would never be able to see the film in theaters again a special 'World Alternation Day' experience."
Following the two TV series in 2006 and 2009, the 162-minute film based on the fourth volume of Nagaru Tanigawa's Haruhi Suzumiya novel series was released in Japan on February 6, 2010, then earned 840 million yen (7.35 million USD) from its domestic run.
Pre-sale of the 2,800 yen (24.53 USD) ticket by lottery will be held from November 22 to 28, the general sales will begin on December 8. Theatergoers will receive a set of three film-style bookmarks as a bonus.
