TV Anime Requiem of the Rose King Releases New PV Introducing OP Theme by Makoto Furukawa

Riho Sugiyama & Aoi Yuki newly join the voice cast

 

 

The official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Aya Kanno's dark fantasy historical drama manga Baraou no Souretsu / Requiem of the Rose King has posted an 80-second new PV introducing its first cour's OP theme song "Ware, Bara ni Insu" (I, indulge in the rose) sung by Makoto Furukawa. The song will be released as his fourth single on February 16, 2022. The two-cour anime is set to premiere on TOKYO MX, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto on January 9, 2022, then on BS11 two days later.

The site has also announced two addition voice cast members; Buckingham, who meets Richard at a party and takes an interest in him, will be played by Riho Sugiyama (Rosalie in I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level), and Jeanne d'Arc, a French witch who was burned for the crime of cross-dressing, will be played by Aoi Yuki (Nodoka Hanadera/Cure Grace in Healin' Good PreCure).
