JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Becomes the Most-Watched Show on Netflix Japan as Stone Ocean Debuts

It's number 1 in Japan, number 6 in the US

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean launched its first 12 episodes on Netflix on December 1 and quickly rose to the top of the charts, with the entire series trending on both the Japanese and US internal "most-watched" charts. The JoJo's Twitter account announced yesterday that the entire show (not just Part 6) was in first place on Japanese Netflix, while in the United States the entire show that is available on the service is in 6th place.

To put that in comparison, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is against the ever-popular Squid Game, the newest K-Drama that has debuted on the service, and a myriad of films like Red Notice and (at least in Japan) competing against One Piece. Not bad for a multi-generational family tale!

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 Stone Ocean follows Jolyne Cujoh as she goes to prison for a crime she didn't commit, set 10 years after the events of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.

You can catch the first five parts of the TV anime adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure here on Crunchyroll before binging the first 12 episodes of Stone Ocean, which started streaming on Netflix around the world on December 1.
