The new cast members include:

M・A・O as Mitsuki Ohshiro.

A character setting of Tohbaru-sensei from the upcoming Aharen-san wa Hakarenai TV anime. Tohbaru-sensei is a women with shoulder length black hair and green eyes. She wears a white work shirt, a grey sweater, a purple skirt, and brown dress shoes, and she keeps her eyeglasses hooked on to the collar of her shirt. She maintains a severe and scowling expression.

The original Aharen-san wa Hakarenai manga is serialized in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital manga magazine. The story of the series follows the everyday adventures of Reina Aharen, a quiet girl with a blank expression, and Raidou, the boy who sits next to her in class. At first, Raidou assumes that Aharen has a cold personality, but she becomes much more friendly one day after Raidou returns to her an eraser that Aharen had dropped. Unfortunately, Aharen has trouble communicating and is a terrible judge of personal boundaries, always keeping people too close or too far away...

A new key visual for the upcoming Aharen-san wa Hakarenai TV anime, featuring the main characters, Raidou and Aharen sharing deskspace in their high school classroom. They have a series of notebooks and writing materials spread out across their two desks, which are pushed adjacent to one another, and Aharen is sitting extremely close to Raidou with an impassive, oblivious expression on her face.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto and Tomoe Makino and features animation production by FelixFilm. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan beginning in April of 2022.
