My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission

After grossing over US$40 million at the worldwide box office, making it the highest-grossing My Hero Academia anime film in the world, World Heroes' Mission's home release in Japan was detailed today, revealing that the "Plus Ultra" edition will be coming with a brand new OVA.

The OVA is an adaptation of the No.XXX Hawks: SOOTHE chapter of the manga that was given out to filmgoers in the first few weeks of release. The new animation, which has been given the subtitle of "Setting Off", features the trio in an airport and coming across Hawks in the same terminal. The "Plus Ultra" edition will also feature the "World Fan Meeting" stage, a 44-page booklet, Vol. World Heroes cover postcard and more. The Blu-ray version starts at 8,580 yen (US$76), while the DVD version starts at 7,480 yen (US$66). The listings reveal only Japanese audio and no English subs. A regular edition of the film will also be released without the OVA and goods.
