Slam Dunk Anime Film Posts New Visual for Fall 2022 Release

The official website for the forthcoming all-new anime feature film based on Takehiko Inoue's basketball-themed sports manga Slam Dunk posted a new teaser visual of fist and fist butted together. The illustration is newly drawn by Inoue, who serves as the film's writer/director. The tagline is "I just didn't want to lose."

The film is set to be released in Japan in the fall of 2022. Toei Animation, the company produced the TV anime series that was aired for 101 episodes from 1993 to 1996, again works on anime production.
