Pupil of the Wiseman starts on January 11 on Funimation

Mira says she's under the tutelage of the great mage Danblf, but what better wiseman than the greatest slime to have ever existed? The upcoming TV anime of She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman revealed its second collaboration visual with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, with Mira and Rimuru (in both his human and slime form) on the edge of a cliff.
The duo also featured in a previous visual in their light novel forms:
She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman TV anime adapts the isekai light novel by Hirotsugu Ryusen, with Keitaro Motonaga (Date A Live) directing the anime at Studio A-CAT. It is scheduled to begin on January 11, with Funimation set to stream it as it airs on Japanese TV, which describes it as such:
Kagami Sakimori plays as the great mage Danblf in his favorite MMO. He falls asleep after a night of testing new character appearances, but instead of waking up to a suspended game, he's inside of Arch Earth Online—as a girl! Now named Mira, he must convince the game's people that Mira is a pupil of Danblf, who vanished without a trace 30 years ago...and figure out how he got here.
