Kamen Rider Exhibition Celebrates 50 Years of Super Hero Action

Installation chronicling anniversary of tokusatsu TV show hits Nagoya in March of 2022

The long-running Kamen Rider tokusatsu TV series is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Japan with a massive art exhibition that hits Nagoya in March of 2022, and now a new key visual (above) and a teaser trailer (below) have been released to celebrate the event.

 

The visual depicts Kamen Rider 1 posing dramatically against a blue sky filled with clouds, while the teaser trailer depicts Kamen Rider 1 striding down a hallway featuring portraits of every Kamen Rider character from the series debut in 1971 to the present day. The "Kamen Rider 50 Years Exhibition" features props and artwork chronicling 5 decades of super hero action.

 

 

The "Kamen Rider 50 Years Exhibition" will run from March 11 - April 10, 2022, at the Kanayama Minami Building venue in Kanayama Town, Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Advance tickets to the exhibition cost 1700 yen (about $14.71 US) for adults and 800 yen (about $6.92 US) for children, while tickets at the door cost 1900 yen (about $16.44 US) for adults and 900 yen (about $7.79 US) for children.
