The official Twitter account for the World Trigger anime adaptation has posted a terse and sudden announcement confirming that today's planned broadcast of the 3rd Season's 14th episode has been suspended and that further announcements on the series and episode broadcast will be made via the account and the series official homepage. The announcement was made 35 minutes before its scheduled broadcast in Japan and gave no reason for the sudden suspension.

The third season of the World Trigger anime adaptation premiered in October 2021 and the series is currently simulcast by Crunchyroll.
