Ongoing adaptation based on manga from authors of Death Note is currently streaming on Crunchyroll
Credit-free versions of the new opening and ending animations have been published for Platinum End, an ongoing TV anime series based on the manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata (the creators of Death Note) about a group of people who are given the power of life and death by angels.
The OP animation features the song "Sense", which is performed by BAND-MAID. The ED animation features the song "Last Straw", which is performed by Kuhaku Gokko.
The original Platinum End manga is serialized in Shueisha's Jump Square manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Viz Media. Crunchyroll describes the story of Platinum End as follows:
"I will give you the hope to live." Kakehashi Mirai lost his parents in an accident and lived in misery with the relatives who took him in. Having lost hope in everything, he jumped off the roof of a building on the day of his middle school graduation. But then he met an angel...
The Platinum End TV anime is directed by Hideya Takahashi and Kazuchika Kise and features animation production by Signal.MD. The series is currently broadcasting in Japan on Tokyo Broadcasting System, BS11, and other stations, and it is also streaming on Crunchyroll as part of the winter 2021 anime simulcast lineup.
