GLAY Guitarist TAKURO Provides New Song "Hitomi no Naka no Lorelei" for Anisong Duo ClariS
"I wrote the lyrics with the hope that this encounter would open a new door for ClariS."

It was revealed today that "Hitomi no Naka no Lorelei (Lorelei in The Eyes)," a new song in anisong duo ClariS's much-awaited sixth album "Parfaitone," was written/composed by the Japanese rock band GLAY's guitarist TAKURO. Prior to the release of the album, the song will be digitally released at 24:00 on March 19 (JST).
Like ClariS, TAKURO is from Hokkaido, and the unit's two members made an enthusiastic offer to him to contribute this song. "I am TAKURO, guitarist of GLAY. I have provided this song because the two members of ClariS are from Hokkaido," he says. "'Hitomi no Naka no Lorelei' has a melody that matches the two singers' wonderful voices, and I wrote the lyrics with the hope that this encounter would open a new door for ClariS. I think the performance of the two and Mayuko Maruyama-san's arrangement made this song very beautiful. I have not been able to meet them yet because of the Corona disaster, but I am looking forward to meeting them someday."
