Princess Connect! Re: Dive Meets Re:ZERO in a Special Crossover Bonanza!

Get Re:Ady to celebrate throughout the month of May!

Heyas, Knights! You read the title correctly - a cohort of wonderful friends from the Dragon Kingdom of Lugnica are coming over to visit Astraea and the world of Princess Connect! Re: Dive. As part of this special crossover with Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, we’ve got Focus Gachas, special story events, and plenty more over the month of May to commemorate our special guests as they cross over from worlds apart.

PriConne x Re:ZERO

First off - say hello to Rem, the first of our special crossover Focus Gachas! Who’s Rem, you ask? She's one of the twin maids working at the Roswaal Mansion, and has found her way over to the world of Astraea. She’s brought along her trademark ball and chain, which she’ll use to protect the ones she cares about from those who would harm them, with a toolkit that can dish out damage, freeze enemies in their place, and heal any damaged allies. A maid has to be prepared for anything on the job!

Like other Focus Gachas, Rem will enjoy boosted rates during her Focus Gacha, and will be available for redemption via character points if necessary. However, as she is a limited character, Rem will not be added into the regular Premium Gacha rotation after her Focus Gacha ends - these special events don’t last forever, so you’ll want to make sure to obtain her while you can, to have something to remember her by!

The Rem Focus Gacha - Re:ZERO Crossover runs for 13 days, from 5/2, 23:00 UTC to 5/15, 22:59 UTC. If you’re a Ram fan, don’t worry - she also makes an appearance, too. More on that in a bit!

But how did our friends from the Dragon Kingdom of Lugnica get here? Who else beyond Rem, Ram, and Emilia came along for the journey? And most importantly of all - will they like our cuisine? These pressing questions and more will be answered in the special crossover story event, Re:ZERO -Sharing Lunch in Another World-. Featuring characters you know and love from the world of Re:ZERO, enjoy a special crossover story as they find common bonds (and fight common enemies) in the world of Astraea!

While this story is anything but usual, let’s get the usual stuff out of the way first. This event features unique, exclusive boss battles, where you can test your skills in three varying difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. Very Hard is destined to be the toughest of the bunch, and is only clearable once per day. If you’re craving even more of a challenge, we’ve also prepared another Special difficulty boss, with unique challenges and mechanics that will challenge you in new ways across three different modes. Of course, for each boss you death-troy, you’ll earn various rewards for your troubles, such as Victory Medals, equipment, and more.

In order to fight the bosses, though, you’ll need to spend Boss Tickets. These Boss Tickets can be obtained by clearing event stages, as well as from login bonuses while the event is active. If you don’t successfully defeat a boss on your first attempt, don’t death-pair - you can retry as many times as necessary, and non-lethal damage dealt to a boss carries over between attempts.

As this is a special Re:ZERO crossover event, players will be able to obtain an exclusive free unit in Ram after defeating the boss on Normal difficulty. Ram might not be the easiest to talk to but she sure speaks up loudly on the battlefield. Make sure to recruit her onto your side before she has second thoughts!

To make our visitors from the Dragon Kingdom of Lugnica feel even more welcome, we’re also increasing the experience gain rates for completing Event Quests. During the event, clearing Event Quests will give 1.5x times the normal experience, in addition to the normal Mana, items, and Boss Tickets that these quests give out.

The Victory Medal Gacha also makes its death-tined return for the event! Clearing event stages, event missions, and defeating the previously mentioned bosses will earn you Victory Medals, which can be exchanged for a plethora of goodies you might death-ire. There’s a predetermined series of reward lineups, each featuring a death-ignated key reward - once you roll the current lineup’s key reward, you’ll have the opportunity to either reset the rewards and move ahead to the next lineup, or hold off on resetting to clear out all the possible rewards. Here are the key rewards you should look out for!

  • Lineup 1: Suzume’s Memory Shard x 20
  • Lineup 2: Ram’s Memory Shard x 25
  • Lineup 3: Suzume’s Memory Shard x 30
  • Lineup 4: Ram’s Memory Shard x 40

Just remember - once you’ve gone through the four initial lineups, you won’t be able to reset the active lineup until you’ve obtained all the possible rewards from the current active lineup.

The Re:ZERO -Sharing Lunch in Another World- story event will be available from 5/2, 23:00 UTC to 5/14, 22:59 UTC.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Re:ZERO-themed programming to bring you this breaking news update: vampires have invaded Landosol, and only you can save the day!

Well, not really. But we are running a much-asked-for re-run of a certain vampiric story event (more details on that below) - and what better way to celebrate that with a short-but-sweet Focus Gacha, featuring the main characters that feature in that story? That’s exactly what the Vampire Hunters with Illya Focus Gacha is for! Enjoy increased draw rates for the vampiric Illya, princessly Maho, and punchy Kaori during their short time in the Focus Gacha spotlight. They’ll also be available for redemption via character points - if you’re missing one or three of these characters, it’s the perfect opportunity to recruit them to your party!

The Vampire Hunters with Illya Focus Gacha runs for four days, from 5/15, 23:00 UTC to 5/19, 22:59 UTC. We now return to your regularly scheduled Re:ZERO-themed programming.

Make way for the silver-haired half-elf herself! One of the most important characters in Re:ZERO, Emilia, also gets her own time to shine with her own special Focus Gacha. Like in the Kingdom of Lugnica, Emilia is ready to use her skills as a spiritual arts user in Astrea as well with skills that boost her own stats, deal magic damage, and a Union Burst that can heal and protect her allies. Her friendly spirit companion, Puck, also makes a cameo appearance in one of her skills!

Like Rem and other limited focus gachas, the same deal applies - as a limited character, Emilia will enjoy boosted rates through her Focus Gacha, and can be redeemed via character points, but won’t be added to the regular Premium Gacha rotation after her Focus Gacha comes to a close.

The Emilia Focus Gacha - Re:ZERO Crossover runs for thirteen days, from 5/19, 23:00 UTC to 6/1, 22:59 UTC.

Whenever you perform a 10-draw, you’re guaranteed to get at least a 2★ character on your 10th draw. But what if we raised the stakes, and guaranteed at least a 3★ character? Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Great news, then - the 3★ Guaranteed Premium Gacha is making a comeback! Once during the campaign, you’ll be able to perform a 10-draw on the current Premium Gacha, but with sweetened rates, ensuring that you’ll get at least one 3★ character for your troubles! Since this overlaps perfectly with the Emilia Focus Gacha above, you’ve got a perfect excuse to try your (guaranteed) luck.

The 3★ Guaranteed Premium Gacha comes back for seven days, from 5/19, 23:00 UTC to 5/26, 22:59 UTC.

Like other events that we’ve brought back before, we’re bringing back the Vampire Hunters with Illya event for players new and old to experience, either for the first time or once again! You’ll get to join Maho and Kaori as they head out on a journey to find and hunt the Legendary Vampire.

This event is a re-run of Vampire Hunters with Illya or a Revival of sorts. If you missed out on the event last time or just want to experience the story again, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. To top it off, you’ll get a new set of missions that will allow you to pick up even more rewards even if you’ve cleared the event before. The Victory Medal Gacha lineup has also been revamped in our Revival event. Take a look at the updated key rewards:

  • Lineup 1: 2 Sets of Kaori’s Memory Shard x 10
  • Lineup 2: 2 Sets of Maho’s Memory Shard x 10
  • Lineup 3: 2 Sets of Kaori’s Memory Shard x 10
  • Lineup 4: 2 Sets of Maho’s Memory Shard x 10

The Vampire Hunters with Illya Revival story event will be available from 5/15, 23:00 UTC to 5/24, 22:59 UTC.

With Re:ZERO making its way into Landosol, we’d be remiss to not also drop new content as well. Make the treacherous climb up Redius Rockies (East), featuring new enemies, new challenges, and new rewards for your troubles. Here, you'll find new equipment that can raise your characters to a maximum of 3 equips at rank 14, as well as new Hard Quest nodes for Pecorine, Shiori, and Kasumi. Making your way through Area 25 will also unlock up to Episode 5 of Chapter 13 of the Main Story.

We'll also be increasing the level cap from 133 to 136. With the addition of the new heroines from Re:ZERO and even more new content, you’ll want to start stockpiling Mana and EXP potions as soon as possible! In addition, new BGM will be added to the Memorial Jukebox for further customization.

The May content drop lands on 5/19 at 13:00 UTC.

Unleash your characters’ full potential through the mysterious powers of Unique Equipment! Via the combination of Princess Hearts and Memory Shards, you’ll be able to unlock special per-character equipment that augments their unique skills and provides stat boosts beyond the normal 6 slots per rank!

The start of May brings a new batch of Unique Equipment - the following characters will have their Unique Equipment unlocked!

  • Illya
  • Miyako
  • Misaki
  • Misogi
  • Kyoka
  • Mimi

Said new Unique Equipment will be available to craft starting on 5/2 at 9:00 UTC.

With so much happening in the month of May - it’s time for the limited-time challenge to make a return, the Tower of Luna opens its doors once again for challengers to climb! The supercharged Dungeon is back and it has prepared yet another new set of 20 floors complete with unique monsters, Shadows, and a new set of bosses to beat, with plentiful rewards for your troubles. Don’t worry, your progress from the last Tower of Luna event is carried over and you can continue the ascent from the floor you left off. Remember, your party of characters can carry over between floors (assuming none of them hit 0 HP), and you can reset your characters to full HP once a day. Can you make the climb up to the 250th floor and complete the EX mission?

The Tower of Luna reopens its doors for five days, from 5/15, 13:00 UTC to 5/20, 15:59 UTC. If you haven’t done so already, you'll need to finish Main Story Quest 9-1 in order to access the Tower. We wish you the best of luck, adventurers!

Giant. Enemy. Crabs. Rally your allies, plan out your teams, and start practicing those timelines, because the May Clan Battle is coming soon! Work with the aid of your fellow clan members to take on monsters too powerful for adventurers to handle alone. The May Clan Battle features a gauntlet of five bosses, and you’ll be able to perform up to three clashes a day on whatever boss your clan’s currently on, earning a clash attempt for every 300 stamina spent. After the event is over, you’ll earn precious Memory Shards, Clan Coins, and Jewels, depending on how well your clan did! The reward structure is the same as before, but you’ll earn Suzume Memory Shards this time around.

The May Clan Battle is live for five days, from 5/25, 13:00 UTC to 5/30, 07:59 UTC. Do your clan a solid and hit three times!

As you’ve seen so far, this update is huge, and basically spans the entire month of May! To wrap up the updates for the month, we’ve got the usual double drop campaigns to share with you all.
