New cast member and Japanese TV details revealed for upcoming anime of idol-themed mixed media project
A new preview video, a new cast member, and the Japanese broadcast details have all been revealed for SHINE POST, an upcoming TV anime based on the idol-themed multimedia project by Konami Digital Entertainment and Straight Edge about a new idol group that dreams of striking it big in the Japanese entertainment industry. The new cast member for SHINE POST is:
Atsumi Tanezaki as Eiko Kikuchi, the manager of the YuraYura Sisters idol group.
The story of SHINE POST follows TINGS, an aspiring idol unit that has big dreams despite producing small results. They seek the "best manager in the world" to help them break out of their slump, but the man that they hired - Naose Hinaki - is completely unmotivated. However, Naose may just have a hidden talent that will help TINGS to succeed...
The SHINE POST TV anime is directed by Kei Oikawa and features animation production by Studio Kai. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:
- Nippon TV: every Tuesday during the 25:29 time slot as part of the "AnichU" programming block, beginning on July 12, 2022.
- BS NTV: every Thursday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on July 14, 2022.
- AT-X: every Thursday during the 21:10 time slot beginning on July 14, 2022, with repeat broadcasts on Mondays at 9:00 and Wednesdays at 15:00.
Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early morning programming as late night programming for the previous day, so for example the 24:30 time slot on Thursday evening is actually on Friday morning at 12:30am JST.
