Felines are Mysterious and Mercurial in Nights with a Cat TV Anime PV

New key visual revealed for upcoming adaptation based on everyday cat comedy manga by Kyuryu Z

In his darkened bedroom, Fuuta stares at his sister's cat, Kyuruga, who is sleeping flat as a pancake next to him on his bed.

Hanging out with a house cat can be a study in contrasts, and now a new preview video and a new key visual have been revealed for Nights with a Cat (known in Japan as Yoru wa Neko to Issho), an upcoming TV anime based on the everyday comedy manga by Kyuryu Z about a young man who enjoys the company of his sister's pet cat even when the cat in question is being a weird little guy.

The original Nights with a Cat manga is published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press, who describe the story of the series as follows:

When Fuuta comes home tired at night, all he wants to do is spend time with his sister’s cat, Kyuruga. So many of the mysterious habits and mannerisms of house cats—from the surprising array of shapes Kyuruga likes to twist into, to the bizarre challenge of getting a good photo of him, to his lightning-fast mood changes—are carefully reproduced in this relaxed and cute comedy about living with an adorable furball!

A new key visual for the upcoming Nights with a Cat TV anime, featuring a scene in which Fuuta is in a seated position on the floor, snuggling with Kyuruga, a plump American shorthair cat. Fuuta's sister, Pi-chan, observes from a seated position on the couch while drinking from a coffee mug.
