halca Rocks Out with Jashin-chan VA in Dropkick on My Devil! X Opening Theme MV

The much-awaited TV anime 3rd season is simulcast on Crunchyroll

Following "Darekare Scramble" yesterday, the official YouTube channel for anisong singer halca has started streaming a music video for "Arekore Drastic feat.Suzuki Aina," another title track from her double A-side eighth single to be released on August 17.

The rock tune is now featured as the opening theme for the Dropkick on My Devil! franchise's TV anime third season, Dropkick on My Devil! X. She previously sang the second season's opening theme "Tokitoshite Violence." As its title suggests, Aina Suzuki, the voice of the anime's protagonist Jashin-chan, joined the recording as the featuring artist and performed with halca in the music video.

The MV's director Ippei Morimoto says, "In this song, I developed a story based on the theme of "returning from death" with the image of Jashin-chan who, no matter how many times she is cut and stabbed, is still alive and well in the next episode. Slightly surreal and violent image scenes, and shaky and intense performance scenes in collaboration with Aina Suzuki-san. Both of these scenes show a new halca-san that has never been seen before."
