My Dress-Up Darling

The agency for Japanese voice actor Shoya Ishige announced this morning that the My Dress-Up Darling TV anime star tested positive for COVID-19 while undergoing a routine check-up ahead of a stage event. Due to this, the official website for the My Dress-Up Darling website revealed that Ishige has had to cancel his appearance on a stage event for the series at Smile Fest 2022 this weekend.

In a post on the Intention agency website, they state that while Shoya Ishige has tested positive, he currently doesn't have any symptoms and is staying home per the guidelines of the Ministry of Health until he tests negative again while monitoring his health.

Outside of Gojo in My Dress-Up Darling, Shoya Ishige is also known as the voice of Yun Arikawa in Godzilla Singular Point, Yusaku Fujiki in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS and Ludo Shubarie in this season's Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer TV anime.
