Ranking of Kings: Yuki no Takarabako will air on Noitamina
The official Twitter account for the Ranking of Kings TV anime announced today that the series, based on the manga of the same name by Sosuke Toka, will be getting a special episode in 2023 based on a story not seen in the anime adaptation thus far. The episode, titled "Yuki no Takarabako (Treasure Chest of Courage)," got a teaser visual of best boy Bojji opening up a treasure chest with his trusty friend Kage.
The staff and cast from the anime series return for the Ranking of Kings special episode. The episode is set to air in Fuji TV's Noitamina block at some point in 2023 along with other stations across Japan. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, describing it as such:
How prosperous your nation is, how many powerful warriors it boasts, and how heroic and strong its king is. These are the criteria that factor into the system known as the Ranking of Kings.
The main character, Bojji, was born the first prince of the kingdom ruled by King Bossu, who is ranked number seven.
But Bojji was born unable to hear and is so powerless that he can’t even swing a sword. In consequence, his own retainers and the public, look down upon him as completely unfit to be king.
It is then that Bojji finds his first friend, Kage, and Bojji’s life takes a dramatic turn…
