KONOSUBA: Legend of Crimson Anime Movie Returns to Japanese Theaters for 3rd Anniversary

A new trailer for the Megumin spin-off will be shown on August 26 at a stage event

KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!Legend of Crimson anime film is returning to the big screen starting August 26 for a week in Japan at the EJ Anime Theater. The explosive film will be showing alongside an explosive new trailer for the upcoming Megumin spin-off KONOSUBA: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!

 

On August 26, a stage will be held ahead of the screening with Rie Takahashi, the voice of Megumin, and Aki Toyosaki, the voice of Yunyun, in attendance. They will be introducing the film as well as the trailer for the Megumin anime. Legend of Crimson will be showing from August 26 to September 2.

Alongside KONOSUBA: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, the third season of KONOSUBA is also in production under the first two season's staff. The first two seasons of the TV anime and Legend of Crimson anime film is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which describes the series as such:

 

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato's disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world's problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long...
