Weekly Shonen Jump will announce when the new chapters release

Hunter x Hunter

In a move long time coming, the Weekly Shonen Jump editorial department has announced Hunter x Hunter is moving on from weekly publication due to the health of creator Yoshihiro Togashi. Jump has affirmed that new chapters will be coming out periodically with the magazine to announce when they are ready.

Togashi has been more open with his health over 2022, opening up a Twitter account to give updates on his condition and to show off the progress he’s making on the latest chapters of Hunter x Hunter

The manga returned to the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump on October 24 after a nearly four-year hiatus. This new periodic serialization will start with chapter 401 and continue to the end of the series. Shonen Jump editors noted that Togashi will continue to write Hunter x Hunter and that the department is fully supporting Togashi in his work.
