Hololive Member Hoshimachi Suisei Is the 1st VTuber to Perform on THE FIRST TAKE
Suisei performed her single "Stellar Stellar" in just one take
Hoshimachi Suisei made history today by being the first virtual YouTuber to perform for THE FIRST TAKE, a Sony Music Entertainment Japan initiative that has singers perform their hit songs in just one take in a minimally-styled studio. Suisei sang a remix of "Stellar Stellar" from her first album "Still Still Stellar" with the VTuber avatar in the usual space that in-person performers sing in along with custom-made Sony headphones.

Suisei is part of hololive 0th gen who started out as an independent VTuber before being scouted as the hololive agency began. The VTuber commented ahead of the release earlier today that "VTubers are still kind of strange. I think it's a huge step forward for us to be invited to a place like this, so I was really happy."
