JOSTARS and Daisuke Hasegawa Announced as First Guests for Saboten Con in Phoenix, AZ


PHOENIX, AZ (February 6, 2017) – JO☆STARS and Daisuke Hasegawa have been announced to make their US debut as the first music guests for Saboten Con in Phoenix, AZ for their 2017 convention. Both artists can be expected to perform in a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure concert as well as participate in Q&A panels and autograph sessions. This will be the first time a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure concert will be held in the US. More details about the schedule will come soon.


This event will be supported by EN Pacific Service Inc(, which is cultivating relationship ties between Japan and the world. Through culture, language, event with other organizations, the EN Pacific Service creates global opportunities to coordinate a relationships overseas trade from Japan/Asia. 


Saboten Con is “Arizona's Premiere Japanese Pop-Culture Convention,” held in annually in Phoenix, AZ. This year, the convention will take place for their 10th anniversary over labor day weekend from September 1 – 4, 2017. Saboten Con is hosted at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix. 


Passes for the convention are on sale now, and full event memberships, which include access to the concert, are available for the low cost of $35. Full membership prices will increase as the dates for the convention draw near. Memberships purchased at the door will cost $55. Those wanting the full VIP experience can be one of the lucky 10 to nab an Otaku Pass for $350. Those with the Otaku Pass will receive: full access all non-paid events during the convention, free access to one cafe each day, VIP Convention merchandise pack, private mixer with convention guests and select staff, premiere seating for all main events, and early access to the vendor hall.

About JOSTARS: JO☆STARS is Japanese vocal unit consisting of members Hiroaki “TOMMY” Tominaga, Coda, and Jin Hashimoto. They sang the theme songs of the TV anime”JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE.” They released “JOJO sono chi no kioku~end of THE WORLD~” on  February 25, 2015, which is theme song of TV anime, “JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE 2nd Season ~Stardust Crusaders , Egypt version~.” They won the theme song award of The 20th Animation Kobe in 2015. They held the first single live at Zepp Diver City Tokyo on May, 2016. Due to that concert’s popularity, an additional live was held at Akasaka BLITZ. About Daisuke Hasegawa: Daisuke Hasegawa born on February 15, 1982 in Fujisawa, Kanagawa and is a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, and composer. Daisuke's debut release was the 2014 single "G no Senkou" which is the theme song of TV anime “Gundam reconguista in G.” He released "Great Days" on October19th, 2016, which is theme song of TV anime “JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE” 4th Season. He collaborated with Tomoyasu Hotei who composed for Quentin Tarantino's feature film Kill Bill on Japanese anime "Classicaloid" in 2016.

About Saboten Con: Saboten Con is an American anime convention held in Phoenix, Arizona and organized by Monkey Paw Entertainment. The convention is held on Labor Day weekend and lasts for 4 days (Fri-Mon). It is currently hosted at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix. Saboten Con is the largest anime convention in Arizona with attendance reaching 9,075 (unique) and 27,075 (turnstile) for the 2016 event.
