    Maybe it's just me, but...
To be clear, if you asked me if this was a good show, I'd say yes.

Stories about reconnecting with old friends, about the guilt and anger that comes from a tragedy, about having to deal with painful feelings from the past... those are stories I want, and this show did the premise well! My main issues come from the details, and not even the important ones, but they're related to Jintan and ...

    #227. What's past is prologue.
Ditching school and staying home is normal for Jinta Yadomi, up until he starts seeing his childhood friend Meiko "Menma" Honma. This isn’t right though, since she had died back when they were in grade school years ago. He believes she is a hallucination, up until Menma makes a request of Jinta Yadomi that will change his daily routine, “Help me make my wish come true.”

    Anohana, is a legendary ...

why do any thing else when you can watch Anohana
the majority of anime that I watch is action, but I figured it was time to expand on genres. That is where Anohana comes in. After reading about the show it peaked my interest. So I figured I would give at least one episode a shot. As I watched the first few minutes of the show I was not really feeling it after one moment of realization it hit me, I couldn't just stop at one episode, I had to ...

    Great storytelling, great show
Anime is a group project after all, and even great series can feel a bit artificial, and you can sense the seams where ideas were stitched together and a committee built a commercially viable thing to be consumed. Anohana is a rare thing that directs all its creative energies to a specific purpose, creating an great experience that's got more in common to a tightly written anime movie... though ...

Beautifully bittersweet, and worth every tear
There's really not much I can say that other people before me haven't already said, so I'll stick to the basics. Anohana has everything you need. The story is so immersive and surprisingly down to earth, even with its supernatural premise. It has strong characters that have substantial growth from beginning to end, even the ones you probably didn't like in the beginning. Every character is a ...

One of the saddest anime ever.
Anohana is probably the saddest anime I ever watched! All of the lead characters are likable, deep and interesting. The story is tear-jerking and original. The music and and animation are just wonderful. Episode 11 is probably one of my favorite anime episode ever. Just watch it!

    A roller coaster of emotions
I don't even know where to begin when it comes to this anime, from the first episode until the last I felt as if I just wanted to cry. You experience a roller coaster of emotions as you click from one episode to the next, Anohana is so relatable in terms of how people deal with the death of someone close to them. Up until our game addicted high school drop out Jintan reunited the "Super Peace ...

    A Masterfully Crafted, Emotional Story
I'm still recovering from crying all through the final episode and won't write much, but just know that all the top reviews have the right of it. Anohana is a masterfully crafted anime that is able to tell its story in just 11 episodes and will leave you feeling very satisfied (if a bit of an emotional wreck).

Highly recommended, you won't regret watching!
