  • Such a fantastic story
This is the first sad/ slice of life esque anime that I have watched and needless to say all i want to do is watch more.
It did not feel like I was watching 11 episodes of just another anime, I felt like i was experiencing a story unfold around me of the likes I have never seen before. At the start it's easy to simply say that some of the characters are annoying but by the end I loved every ...

  • The first anime to make me cry
This show does so much in just 11 episodes. Like other reviews said, this isn't just some normal drama show that has all the common tropes. No, this is different. It hits every single point in the head and makes the viewer feel it. I got chills watching this show and that last episode tore me down. I like to think that I don't cry at sad things but this was just so well constructed. Anohana is a ...

  • This one was the ultimate form of happy/sad
I never write reviews. I just wanted to give this anime a 5 star rating because more people need to see this one.

    This anime hits you hard.

Okay but Crunchyroll is requiring 100 more characters at this point so I guess I'll just write a review. Nvm no more characters required. Just watch it

  • So beautiful and lovely!
This anime got me back shoujo. If you're looking for something truly heart-wrenching and sweet you should definitely watch this anime. I showed this anime to my mother and she cried too. Every member of the cast is well developed and they are super endearing, even the more messed up ones. Please if you have time, watch this anime.

  • A masterpiece, nothing less
This anime will hit you like a train, everything is just done right! from the start you can already tell that this ending will left you in shatters, and trust me it will. I can't express well in word what this will make you feel, so my recommendation will be that you go and see it for yourself.

  • It left me in shambles
    One important word TEARS
You will be left crying, many anime have failed at making me cry, Angel Beats included, but this is one of two that has made me that emotional, its sweet it's funny, but under all of that its deep and makes you feel for the complex characters that exist in this world, to conclude this is an amazing anime both aesthetically pleasing aswell as the story breaks even the ...

  • Who's Cutting Onions?
I'm gonna lead with this: Anohana will make you cry. Maybe on multiple occasions. First, the plot is very good. It is shorter than most other anime, only being 11 episodes, but it used its short length to its advantage. It used flashbacks to describe the incident from everyone's viewpoint, while also going into detail about how their aging has changed all of them. The characters develop very well ...

  • Prepare for All The Tears
Anohana has to be the saddest anime I have ever watched. However, it is not multiple dramatic incidents to add drama to the story. Instead, it is a story of how knowing one person and the loss of that person can effect so many people in different ways. It is truly beautiful and heartbreaking.

Favorite Part: All the characters and their depths. Tsuruko is probably my favorite though.
    Part I ...
