Since we were supposed to get Phantasy Star Online 2 in North America in "early 2013," it was already pretty clear something was going on with the release. Now Sega confirms the delay, and plans to speak up when more details are available. 

Phantasy Star Online 2 landed on PC in Japan last July, followed by a February 2013 release on PS Vita. Here's the confirmation Sega gave Polygon when asked about the delay:

"Originally slated for an early 2013 launch, Sega can officially that PSO2 has been delayed. We don't have any specifics but will update everyone as soon as there are more details to share."

So yeah, back to waiting!
