  • Funniest anime I've seen in a very long time
I'm very picky when it comes to anime, but this tickled me within the first 5 minutes. So well produced and thought out in the gags. I am continuously surprised by the direction and cleverness of the humor and although I wasn't sure of the art style to begin with, it didn't take me long to come around. And the voice acting is some of the best I've heard in a long time.

  • That crazy sort of Comedy that's been missing.
I love Hina Kino VO in this so much. This and chio's school road are both highlights of this season. Asobi Asobase is more plastic neesan while chio gives off Nichijou vibes.

The faces they can make are some of the craziest designs I've ever seen... In a good way.

While I did like recent stuff like Hinamatsuri and its deadpan type of humor, this is just a different beast.

  • Great comedy with a great ending song.
This show will have you on the floor. Its so funny and has a fantastic ED. I'm only on episode 2 but I'm going to be watching all of the episodes as soon as I have time. I highly recommend this show if you're looking for a good comedy. Please watch it and make dank memes about it.

  • Not Your Everyday Slice of Life
Asobi Asobase is deceiving. When you see the promo picture and the opening, you're expecting light hearted high school fun. But once the opening is over, you're treated to almost Beavis and Butt-Head style antics of three girls.

The main cast consists of three girls: Hanako, Kasumi, and Olivia. Hanako is obsessed with being popular, Kasumi dislikes most fun things, and Olivia is an American ...

Nickelodeon X Shoujo or Yuri Stimpy with a side of Seinfeld
3 pretty girls, pastel colours, white, flowers and harmless Japanese kid games, what kind of boring show could this be?

Pfffft, yeah right buddy. When you tune into Asobi Asobase, you better be a fan of all those John Kricfalusi shows on Nickelodeon. What you're getting is the rude, the weird, the crude and total Nu-metal (seriously, even got a hakai in there).

This show is a perfect ...

  • My new Favourite Anime
You should watch this. This is definitely one of the more unique shows I have seen. It will certainly confound your expectations, as it did mine.
It looks like a "cute girls do cute things, have fun times and make precious memories" style of show. Is it? Well.... yes and no...
Right from the first episode you'll be going "wait... what is going on here?"
But it won't take too long and you'll be ...

    Hilarious, quirky anime
Let's face it, anime can be depressing. There's a lot of edgy anime out there that will leave you feeling depressed, dejected, and emotionally abused. If you've just been through a series like that, Asobi Asobase is the cure for what ails you. Two things, though: Non-Japanese audiences may need to do some Google searching from time to time to understand some of the references, and the opening ...

  • 11/10. Most hilarious anime you can find.
the best anime of this season, possibly the funniest anime of the last decade. It's been a long time since I've watched an anime that had me in tears of laughter (litterally, no hyperbole) consistently over multiple episodes.

In the words of trump; Thank you Asobi Asobase. Very cool.

It's Gonna Punch You In the Dick
So I sat down to this show expecting another installment of K-On and On and On to sate my Cute Girl Dependency. Instead I got Pop Team: Epic-ed

Well, that's not completely fair. This show is a zany, off the rails comedy but not quite in the same way as PT:E. It reminds me more of Konosuba in that it's a character comedy that follows a cast of objectively bad people doing stupid, vain, and ...

Probably best comedy of the year
This is an excellent example of what a good 100% pure comedy anime should be done. There are other better anime around there with some comedy on it, others use constantly unrealistic gags to keep you laughing but Asobi Asobobase just want to be funny with all those things without overusing it.

Anyway, I was expecting anything from this anime, and even when I am not fond of slice of live ...
