    A cash grab done right
even thought it is a cash grab of a sequel it is done right with taking elements from the original naruto and experiencing naruto all over again and a good introduction to a new generation and even thought people complain that boruto is the same as naruto (talk no jutsu) he is different in many ways and waiting for a new episode every wednesday

    Boruto isn't Naruto...
And that's not just okay, that's what this show should, and is supposed to, be. Yes, Naruto and Boruto, the people, are similar. They're father and son. If Boruto had an ungodly amount of chakra, or wanted to be Hokage with no apparent motivation, then I would call this series "Naruto:Re." and just not watch it.

Gotta give the show some time
I understand why so many people want to compare this to Naruto, because it is part of the series, but it is also a brand new start. I feel like its not fair to the show to compare it to a 500 episode long, nostalgic show, that is rounded out and completed. I say give it time and hopefully we will see something nice here.

From Someone that Never Watched Naruto
I was really hoping to be interested in an on-going anime, and I decided it'd be a good time to start here. I was quickly disappointed.

Every character seems like a background except for an episode or 2. For example, Iwabee, that oldest guy in the academy. He acted like a major deal for that one episode, and had a duel with Boruto. After the episode, he just becomes a random classmate in the ...

Solid 4 out of 5 so far
Solid 4 out of 5 so far. First 14 episodes got my attention and I want to see more. Feels like a continuation of Naruto/Shippuden and thats what im looking for. Also its interesting to find out who paired off with who since at the end of Shippuden only 3 pairings were confirmed.

Boruto - the Watered Down Version of Naruto.
    Long time Naruto series fan:

My main problem with the series is that every piece of action in the show is a let-down.
. This show feels like a very long, over-blown filler episode. Literally, ...

  • I have never watched Naruto before, but I like this anime so far
Okay, so I have never watched Naruto at all. I read the manga, but just the very first volumes. I don't relate to all the comparing to Naruto, but I can say so far I have genuinely enjoyed this anime. I like all of it. I like Boruto and his friends. I like the simple plot and fights. I mean its showing there is going to be some progress in Boruto's fighting style and character, that intro actually ...

  • Reboot of Naruto when he was a kid
Most of us kind of expected that Boruto would be a reboot of the old Naruto series and was seeing what the developers would actually dish out for us. After following this anime for all of its episodes, I still find myself stuck in between the lines of giving up the whole Boruto anime and keep watching it. They didn't improve on the series even after they were given a clean slate with the ending of ...

Don't Overhype it. But it is Not the Worst Anime Out There.
Like Naruto before it, it is pretty much more or less the same. Except we follow Boruto, Naruto and Hinata's son.

Boruto does follow a different path, and that may trigger people. THAT IS NOT A BAD THING. If anything that is the "best" thing thus far.

It is cartoonish, that is also not bad. If anything, also another good thing about the show.

The issue, it feels a bit less in-depth than ...

    Strong and Compelling
Both for fans of the original Naruto show, and those looking for a place to start with the franchise Boruto offers a consistently excellent option. By making the struggle of legacy a central theme the show manages to thrive with Naruto's looming shadow, made rather literal in the first title sequence.

By resetting the power scale, the world and the village are only in mild peril, with much of ...
