    Btooom! is seriously awesome!
I first decided to watch this after seeing it's OP on youtube and loving it and thinking it looked cool. But I still wasn't really sure about it when I first started it. I knew I'd probably like it relatively but I'm actually surprised at how much I really enjoyed it.

It's premise, to me, is literally The Hunger Games and the third Spy Kids movie combined. Which, when you think about it, is ...

Loved this anime and watched it all in one setting!!
Slight Spoiler alert, I won't add any specific details of the anime, but will compare it to a few things that I have seen. I'll keep spoils to a minimum. :D

This anime reminds me of a movie Ive seen, Battle Royal. In the movie a bunch of students were brought to an island and told the last one standing wins and gets to leave and they are forced to kill one another. Each student ...

    Studio Madhouse does it again!
I originally wrote this on my MAL. Im re-posting it here with better grammar and other shenanigens. Enjoy~ :3

Among the Fall 2012 anime list's gleaming gems is Btooom!, the seinen manga adaptation done by Madhouse Studios.

    Story: 6
The story is fairly decent with its battle royale format. The pacing never gets too slow or too fast, and feels "just right" for a 1 cour show.
    HOWEVER, the ...

    Couldn't stop watching
I thought this series was fantastic.
After spending the past week or so trying to get through another series (Campione!), I needed something new. A recommendation from a friend saw me looking into this, and I am truly grateful to have come across it.

This is fantastic series. It can be very dark and deep, with the story following the emotions and thoughts of the characters and the hardships ...

    "Damn, I liked BTOOM!"
I said that too myself several times for a few days. I had no intentions of even watching this anime. The title alone is stupid. BTOOM!, boom with a 't' and exclamation mark? ooookay. However I made a pact to watch at least 1 episode of every new anime Fall 2012 season. Like a few other animes I didn't expect to like BTOOM! got me hooked. The premise is outstanding. If there's someone in ...

    pure awesomness!!!!!!
The following review DOES NOT contain any spoilers.

    Story: 10
Btooom! follows 22 year old protagonist, Ryōta Sakamoto. Ryōta is one of the world's best Btoom players, an online multiplayer where the objective is to seek out and destroy your opponents using BIMS (bombs). However, after being kidnapped and transported to a secluded island, he is forced to play the game for real.

    The story ...

Btooom: It's Time to Play the Game
That feeling when you get when you realized your life is now fucked up, turned from virtual fun into a bloody reality, and your only chance to survive is to trust in no one (I mean it here) but yourself. With only your disposal – a package of bombs, a strange gem on your hand, and your own intuition, you realize that your life has been changed forever with your new life now residing on a strange ...

    AWESOME show, freaking love it!
This is exactly the show I've been waiting for to fill the void left after Deadman Wonderland! It even mixes in one of my other favorite shows "Sword Art Online" with the whole game concept affecting reality.

Great anime showcases violence, insane characters, and a cool scenario
Badass pretty much sums this up. Don't write it off till there are at least 7 or so episodes. It takes time to set up complex characters with messed up backgrounds. It's a dark anime with gore, sexual event, and etc. don't watch it if you are not into anime with that. I look forward to more episodes.

A nice twist to a familiar concept
If you like survival anime taking place in videogames/simulations, you will like BTOOOM! Although it's based on a concept already done numerous times, the mechanics that it uses separate it from the rest in interesting ways. 30 survivalists are abducted and taken into an island with no resources save for the ocasional air drop. To fight they use a variety of bombs, Some are straightforward but can ...
