  • & Now I'm just waiting; oh its good
So i didn't watch the show growing. i can to watch it after an anime group did a poll on IG between Sailor Moon and Sakura; naturally before i could read the actual question i pick Sailor Moon. They were talking about whose outfits were best, showing images. Upon seeing such things, i had to watch the show. Finished the series inside of a week (i don't play) and LOVED IT! I WANT THE CLEAR CARDS! ...

  • Why CardCaptor Sakura Means so Much to Me.
Anime was a huge part of my, and I’m guessing a lot of other people’s childhoods. I grew up watching shows like Pokemon, and DragonBall Z, but I never really found a show that made me desperate to see every new episode every week. That was, until I was searching for a new show to watch one night, and I stumbled across a little show called Cardcaptor Sakura. I don’t remember how I saw it, it might ...

  • I'll love it forever
This was such a great show for me to watch growing up! One of the first anime I ever watched, and definitely instilled a love of the magical girl genre in me (along with Sailor Moon, which was my actual first ever). I love watching Sakura grow up and master her powers along the way, and the budding romance between her and Syaoran.

At the same time though, I really like dubs. Mainly because I ...

  • Best magical girl Sakura Kinomoto!
This was a show I watched when I was a kid and got back into as an adult. It's actually a pretty solid show that stood up to time. The new dub is better in that it's more accurate in reactions and dialogue, but the voices sorta suck. I really don't think it would matter which you chose, sub or dub. This is hands down my favourite anime ever. I can't get enough of sakura and all her friends!

  • One of the cutest animes ever.
I watched this anime as a kid and I loved it, and I still love it. I loved it so much I introduced my kids to it and they love it. It's one of the animes that really kick started the Magical Girl genre in my opinion. It's also unique from most of it's type as well. I agree with another reviewer that the subtitled version is a lot better then the dub.

  • words can't describe how much i love this show
This show is so incredible! What starts off as a seemingly simple yet charming magical girl anime grows into a series with a deep and extremely well thought out plotline with characters you can't help but adore (I'm looking at you, Tomoyo). It's well paced and every episode is just so much fun to watch! Not to mention the opening songs (the first OP especially) are wonderful catchy songs you can't ...

  • Complete series watched
I've seldom been impressed with such amazing art quality, character development, and heart. This show has it all. At times the episodic nature was a little predictable but the the massive amount of effort in the art, the voice acting, the story telling and heartfelt character development kept every episode fresh and ready to be captured.

  • Loved it. Really fun to watch.
Just a really cute candy anime you can watch easily and enjoy. Just fun to watch. The subtle "romances" are fun as they develop. I'm surprised the series didn't last longer but then again it was just about right. Very fun art style. Very unique to look at.

  • One of the first animes I've seen
Cardcaptor Sakura was among one of the first animes I remember being introduced to. It helped expand my desire to know more about anime and mangas.

The story follows Sakura who finds a magical book in her father's study and opens it accidentally releasing its magical cards into the city. She has to go recapture them with the help of the book's guardian and her best friend.

    It follows her ...

  • Childhood Favorite, Classic Magic Girl Shoujo
My favorite anime of all time, as an 8 year old I grew up aspiring to be like Sakura-chan. Beautiful anime filled with lots of love and lots of magic. Watched-Rewatched this alongside Sailor Moon and DBZ on cable as a kid. Great rewatch for the nostalgia, and great for first time watcher kids and adults.
