Trying so hard to be different.
I get what they're going for. It's supposed to be a parody of every 'academy' anime out there, but instead of making an academy for a specific profession that students battle one another for, this instead has the curriculum itself be this insurmountable challenge that students clash over. Yes, yes, very clever.
    Except... it's really not.
The execution is off, and maybe it's just the bitter cynic ...

"You're not cheating unless you get caught"
It have a simple plot nothing too fancies but the parody are hilarious. Parent forcing their kids to cheats is something you dont see in much anime, where the main character are told to never cheats and follow the rules. But Cheating Craft say F the rule and follow the " You're not cheating unless you get caught" formula.

Excellent parody of the Japanese education system
Besides getting more chuckles than most anime last season, this series promised strange and absurd battles. The series is an excellent parody, and anyone who enjoys comedy, action, and has paid attention to more than anime in Japan will get a kick out of it.

Action Comedy really seems to be making a return to the scene this season, and I couldn't be happier.

    What did I just watch?
This is an episode 1 review:
Firstly, this is a half-episode length show. It's an extremely over the top anime about an academic test to determine your entire future, with a poorly cobbled together premise that the test has become a battlefield, with partnered teams of cheaters and smart people, who pair off and do battle. It's drawn fairly well, and it's amusing in it's own way. I'm just not ...

    pretty on the nose parody
Top kek. The double (triple?) bait-and-switch was perfect, and so were the cheesy "L-type" and "C-type" team descriptions. Only one episode in, but this show seems to be trying the "Shoukugeki no Soma" approach to school battle-shounen parodies/deconstructions. All this needs is a redheaded tsundere and a pair of talking glasses, and it's got the full set.

    Just like Shokugeki no Souma...
...if Shokugeki was about taking tests instead of making food. Also if Shokugeki didn't have humor, memorable characters, solid art, good pacing, and an overarching plot. I couldn't find a single redeeming feature in the first episode. I mean seriously, I assume this is supposed to be a comedy, judging by how over-the-top it tries to be, but not even one joke in a whole episode?

    In short, this ...

An interesting concept wrongfully thrown in the garbage.
When first marketed for the upcoming Fall 2016 season, I was looking forward to this one. Seemingly amazing art and animation, a hilarious world setup and concept, and somewhat unique character designs.

However, 2 episodes in, it all falls apart in practice. The classroom is completely glossed over in fantasy battles seemingly taking place in a rocky crater. There's no character development, ...

What you need is something ridiculous.. admit it.
I'm not going to pretend I am some professional anime reviewer. I don't agree with the overall rating of this show (as of the third episode,) but I will just do my part and share my own opinion. This show is made up of 12 minute episodes. That threw me off a bit- I'm certainly used to episodes having more material.
These episodes make me smile. That's not so easy to do. If you go into this show ...

Taking exams and need to blow off steam.
Only watched the first episode of this one. The title “Cheating Craft” sounded interesting, attracted me. This is pure over the top parody of a present obsession with acing the exams to get the best jobs for life in Japan. I am not sure how genuine this phenomenon is in Japan. Do the students with best grades gain exclusive access to the best career positions?

I do agree that our contemporary ...
