  • Classic of Classic! This is an Amazing Anime!
Totally, recommend this classic anime. It was one of the best animation during the early 2000's. Great graphics and soundtracks. Sadly, they never end the anime as they end the manga. But, it is a good anime to watch and spend your time watching it. Lot of action and kawaii girls.

  • So Worth the Watch (or Read)
The show or the manga; pick either one and you'll still enjoy Claymore. The characters, the plot, the style, the content, the animation, it's all worth watching at least once. This story revolves around a strong female cast that fight some serious bosses while overcoming personal, emotional, and physical issues. It's dark in nature, so it's not for those that hate violence and dismemberment, as ...

  • ONE OF MY FAVORITE ANIMES AND ITS FINALLY HERE ON CRUNCHY!!
LOVED WATCHING THIS ANIME ON NETFLIX, very happy to see it appear in cruncyroll! I have rewatched this several times and this anime is always an emotional, gorey, incredible rollercoaster for me. I enjoyed every moment of this anime. Although it is a "short" anime, it paces itself well and would HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this to give this piece of art a try!

Good Show , worth watching . this is my kind of anime !
Although the ending was horridly done . I think this anime is a must watch for anyone who like myself prefers the Darker , more mature anime stories and styles.
I watched all 26 episodes straight through and absolutely love it.
It would be great if someone picked this up and finished the story .

  • THE BEEEEEST! WATCH IT
One of my all-time favorite and still is! The depth of the story is great and interesting. The characters great! I really enjoyed the character buildup and art. Everything and I mean everything is great about it! I 100% recommend! Not to mention this is an all strong female group!

  • An utterly awesome anime
Every show has it's downfalls. But Claymore has few and scattered between a story of epic proportions. The main nitpick of Claymore, is that there is not enough of it. Characters are flushed out with full backstories, the action is a joy to watch, and the evil is external and internal throughout the story.
Recommended to watch. Especially if you enjoy stories of something akin to a vampire slayer.

  • My "Deserted Island" Anime
I don't have much to add to the numerous glowing reviews that have already been given by other people. Only that I'm really happy that Crunchyroll has the series now and I'm hopeful even more people will get the chance to experience this amazing anime series.

  • I liked it. Most of it.
This is a super good action anime full of awesome fights.

    The good points:
-There are so many awesome characters.
-There are so many awesome villains that I love to hate.

    The not-so-good points:
-The boy, Raki, is absolutely helpless and stupid.
-There isn't going to be a season 2!!!!! (nooooooooo)

  • Defintely watch this, then read the manga.
It's hard to review this without making allusions to Berserk. I think the biggest difference is that while Berserk is more or less a slow buildup, Claymore moves a pretty fast pace with action and lore consistent throughout. I've seen some people say the ending is lackluster but I honestly disagree. While the ending does curtail some major plot points from the manga, it is still serviceable and ...
