  • Cute, but not too cohesive
Aoyama-kun is one of those animes where you can watch any given episode and not need context to understand it. If you're in it for plot, leave right now. If you're in it for the waifus, leave right away. I saw what the creators tried to do with Gotou and Mio, but they ended up making those two girls more annoying than intended. The soccer coach is best girl. End of story. If you've ever watched ...

  • Beginning to End....
This was an excellent anime to watch! Even though I finish fairly quickly... I hope there is a season 2 that's making it's way but there probably isn't. The whole idea of a elite soccer player that's literally a "Clean Freak" is so unique to me!

    Overall
    Would recommend 5 stars!

Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun is dull and extremely average.
    (Spoiler Warning)

If you're looking for a traditional soccer anime, you'll be very disappointed. Putting that aside, if you're looking for a short-running show with some comedic moments, you may find enjoyment in Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun.

Aoyama's perfect character is very boring to me, he doesn't have any conflict or any sort of progression in the twelve episode season. He doesn't have any ...

  • A very pleasant show
Four not five stars. Don't get me wrong this was an extremely good series and I enjoyed it. There isn't much resolution on some things you'd want to see from the series; for those who aren't interested in the manga and what not. You can still enjoy the series as is, but you'd be wanting more in the end. Not the "Oh, this deserves another 2 seasons," or variant. More like "I want at least a couple ...

  • A mix of slice of life and sports
Despite not playing any sports myself, for some reason I cannot get enough of sports anime. Soccer anime are some of my favorites, so I was quite excited to watch Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun, which had an interesting premise.

It definitely has its moments and can be quite funny, so I enjoyed watching it for the most part. However, I wish there was more emphasis on sports. It leans more towards the ...

  • Clips on Youtube made it seem funnier
The clips for the show on YouTube made it look like a good show, but when I watched it most of the funny parts were on YouTube. Wish he would have been able to get over his germaphobia, that is sort of what I was expecting the story line to be about. The story with him and the basketball girl was really funny and interesting, I wish they had developed that relationship more. Some of the side ...

  • Comedy and soccer come together
I definitely think the first half of the season was better. There was more of a plot line going on. Then it mostly shifted over to a slice of life without much soccer being shown. I still enjoyed it, but I wanted to know more with where the plot was going. The animation for Aoyama's soccer moves were beautiful. Still worth a watch, but don't expect everything to be resolved at the end.

    Really a ...

  • Not heavy sports-related
The design of the characters are extremely beautiful! I really like anime with good art. Overall, the content of the anime was mildly interesting. It was entertaining enough for me to watch all the episodes but not exciting enough to recommend to a friend. Aoyama is an interesting character but oftentimes he didn't truly feel like the main character in the series.

Even though the anime was ...

The Main character isn't the Main Character [Not a soccer Anime either]
I watched all the way to episode 12 because I like to watch as far as I can go. I came into the series hoping for a soccer related comedy anime, and got a pretty dull slice of life instead. Also, It tends to frustrate me when the main character isn't the main character. This series is all about getting to know how the main character has influenced his classmates from their point of view. Each ...

  • Not a total sports anime
I thought watching this show was gonna be sports heavy with the lead being a super awesome player that is a germaphobe. But it seemed liked every episode wasn't like that, they had side stories and basically showed other people(that weren't even on the team) and their mini storyline. Which was fine, but it seemed to be off track or maybe they shouldn't have advertised it as sports heavy than what ...
