    must watch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this spin off of code geass is a master piece. took 5 years to make since they put their whole budget in each film. it over the time where lulu was under the his father geass, heavily focus on whats on the western front of the war. seeing ornginal code gease is not a must when watching this but it will help you understand more of whats going on. they have different nightmere that are controlled ...

If you are a fan of Code Geass, then you should watch this.
This takes place between the two seasons of Code Geass. While we do get brief appearances of some familiar characters, this is largely all new characters in a new story.
    Animation:
Right off the bat, we see that the visuals are WAY improved from the regular series. They didn't spend five years making this series for nothing. The battles are awesome and action-packed.
    Length: ...

    Won't Regret Watching
I gave this 5 ole spicy bois for top tier animation, quality action, compelling plot and high quality sound design.

Akito doesn't totally get over the hump on integrating its CGI and animation but its fast paced action and excellent quality of animation are reasons to overlook this blemish. On top of that some of the locations are downright inspired. Sweeping futuristic but abandoned ...

  • dont watch, it is garbage
If you like lelouch, this show will feel very familiar at first, refreshing even. But as it goes on it becomes full of plot holes and leaves you constantly asking, How? Why? and what the fuck is going on? It's as if b list writer smoked crack and ate some shrooms and ended up with the rights to the story. The main show comes across as an opera with a focus on the characters, their interactions and ...

First ep too boring to continue?
The first episode is so boring. At first I was excited at first to see this was an hour long. It was disappointing when it turned into jazzy slow pans of buildings doing nothing and characters talking about nothing important. Could have been thirty minutes.

I've never liked CGI in anime, and I don't like it even more in this because it skips back and forth between CGI robot battling and pretty ...

Gorgeous Artwork, Fantastic Combat, and Meh Characterization
Music: A. It captures the jazzy, not quite appropriate feel that made the soundtrack unique in CG.

Character Designs: A It's CLAMP, so you can't go wrong.

Characterization: C Lots of clichéd and unrealistic dynamics and interactions.

Mechanical Design: A The Alexander mecha, while lacking Omni-Directional Gear, are distinctive and memorable.

Combat: A CG mecha combat never looked ...

  • If you like Code Geass it is a must watch but....
If you never seen it before you might be lost! This takes place between season 1 and 2 of Code Geass.
Also, if you looking for Lelouch then turn back he is not the main character in this. This is what he did the summer his dad got a hold of him.
I knew this going in and still wanted more Lelouch and wish to give it 3 star just for that but that would be unfair!!!!
So, now that I got ...

    Just one little problem
Lovely story and graphics, just one major flaw. Everyone look the same!
Way too many people have the same hair, face, with just some slight color difference. Took a while to recognize who is who.

Most other thing is as good as expected as a Code Geass series.

  • I watch the action scenes in slow motion
The mecha fight scenes are awesome! The best. Especially movie#2. I watch them over and over while yelling SHINE! SHINE! SHINE! (as in die! die! die!) The music is not too shabby either (again, especially in movie#2). Watching the action scenes in 0.5 speed makes me appreciate them even better!
