Love the game? You'll definitely love the anime!
If you're a fan of the game, you'll definitely love the anime. The first episode was enough to sell me on Lupin (who I didn't really enjoy in the game), so it's doing something right. The animation is smooth, and they've cut some corners to try to fit the majority of the story into 12 episodes, but it's still totally worth the watch!

Great Setting and Concept, Ruined by Poor Production, Bad Direction, and Tropey Story
Note: Watched only episodes 1-7 so far
Overall Feeling: Easy watching, with warm tones, but a lingering annoyance at bad direction and predictable tropes

Steampunk London? Sounds good! The art is nice, with interesting costume designs, and sometimes you see frames that look lovely. Then there is the action: recycled frames, excessive use of smoke to hide ...

    Please play the game instead!
Note: as of writing this review, I have seen episodes 1 through 9. And I have completed the game on the PSVITA.

I am glad that they kept the original voice actors from the games and chose to stick to the plot as close to the game as possible. The animation so far is sub-pair at best; coming from someone who's majoring in animation, I can tell you that majority of the scenes are recycled, ...

Haven't played the game, but from watching this anime I think.....
I enjoy watching it. At first I thought there was going to be a girl who is weak and can't do anything right. But as I continue to watch it I start to like the characters a lot. The theme that they are in England are pretty cool and It reminds me of black butler in a way, I mean when they sing my faiirrr lady black butler was the only thing that popped into my my mind. The characters are very ...

    Code: Realize, Review
This anime is great!! I was originally drawn to it by the artwork which kind of reminded me of Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji), another anime I absolutely love. Since I have not played the game, I was not able to watch Code: Realize with that filter in mind, so I wrote this review just as I would for any other anime. All in all, I loved the first four episodes; I thought they were intriguing with a ...

    Code Realize: My Review
This is a show that will get better throughout each episode. I love all the characters and they each bring a different dynamic to the show. A twist in episode 4 had me surprised and i expect some more to come. The world itself is very intriguing as well.

Thought it was just a reverse harem, left me with happy feels
I give this a solid 4-star rating, only loss was for lack of female characters... >.>

I was initially only watching this out of curiosity and the whole thing seemed like just one big reverse harem and nearly dropped it. I was pleased to find there was actual plot and story to what was going on and it was progressing smoothly as I pieced things together. This definitely isn't for everyone and ...

    Play the game first:
Although very fast paced until the first half of the series, it does a good job at showing the main parts of the plot... This anime is definitely not for first watchers, I think if you play the game first you'll have fun finding which route is that dialogue/episode from, etc, AND come to understand many things that don't make sense in this adaptation.

The character design is amazing (coming ...

  • Marvelously exhilarating!
It was more than I was expecting. Keep me wanting to watch more. To bad there was only thirteen episodes. The plot was good. The unexpected twist and turns is astonishing. The battle scenes are creative. Loved how they incorporated other historical names.

  • Better Than Most Otome-Based Anime Adaptations, Thus Far...
I haven't exactly played this particular game, but I am an avid otome-gamer, and while I do enjoy playing the games themselves, I tend to be a little wary when it comes to the anime adaptations.

Don't get me wrong; every time an otome-based anime adaptation is announced (especially titles I'm familiar with), I do mark my calendar/s for the release date/s; however, I'm pretty much resigned to ...
