Written in Response to Episode 1 - It is worth a watch
What a strong debut! The show is like Kill La Kill, Gundam 00, and Gurren Lagann all had a baby together, which for me is awesome because it combines concepts from series that I love. Studio Trigger is back in top form with this new mecha anime. It feels like the true successor to both Kill La Kill and Gurren Lagann. I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. The animation is top notch and the fight ...

(probably not very helpful) hey look at that, something from Trigger
Honeslty, it's like Pacific Rim and Kill la KIll. First episode is very good (only one out at this time), the animation is super good. The concept is not especially original, again, sort of like Pacific RIm or something like that, but Trigger pulls it of well. Even if mecha-anime is not your thing, you should check this one out

Five Episodes in and still skipping at least 30% of the video
Even Trigger is not enough to save the show.

This show is incredibly slow and incredibly boring to watch, 75% of it consists of watching characters mouths flapping as they spout off what we knew and saw in the previous episode. Not only that, what makes things worse is that the show is very formulaic and makes it very predictable to what will happen next.

All characters that are given even ...

    More A1 than Trigger
Seeing this was produced in part by Studio Trigger I was excited to see what the episode would present. Unfortunately this was a chore watch with not a single original idea present and what do see being bland and uninspired.
Kill La Kill was full of interesting characters with uniquely styled animation with great direction, establishing its world and characters quickly and effectively. Almost ...

Episode One Review - A spectacle opening!
Oh man, Trigger back at it again with the super fighting robots!

This episode opened the series really strongly and left you with a deep need to want to know more about the world it is set in. From the visual style from the start to the eccentric Pilot 002 (who pilots the eponymous FranXX, Strelizia) to the questions raised by the "Birdcage" and humanities place on the planet and what role the ...

Please give this a chance(Only have seen the first episode so far)
The characters are interesting. The animation is beautiful. And the lore of the world is very interesting.

I really want to see more of this. The mech designs are a bit different but in a good way. The enemies are definitely interesting and I want to know more about them. I want to see more of the relationship between the two main characters.

Can't wait to see where this goes!

    A True King of Kings
With only a single episode thus far.

I love the animation, I love the obsession with blood and connection, I love the mystery, and I love the fact that this show has graced us with its presence in our dire time of need, when it comes to having true 10/10 masterpiece shows grace us with their presence, and boy has it been a while. I remember watching Kill La Kill years ago, and I remember always ...

    A strong start! Holy cow!
When I saw this one was made by the same people who made Kill La Kill, I knew I'd be watching it, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect given that it's another Mech anime, but WOW. Of course I was impressed with the animation, but the originality of the story, at least so far, seems to be something that will drive this one higher on my list as time goes on. I'm so excited to see what happens next ...

    Trigger does it again. <3
The story so far is pretty interesting, but when I'm watching something by Trigger Studios, I'm always amazed by the art. I've always been a fan of the anime Trigger puts out and I can already tell this one won't disappoint me or any of my friends as well.

Edit: After watching episode 2, realizing trigger isn't being subtle with this one. I'm happy for giving this show a 5 star, It's passed my ...

A bit of a slow start...
This series or episode started a bit slow and leaves some information gaps but overall it is a good watch. The story from the synopsis was quite interesting and I am looking forward to seeing how the story develops. I hope as it does move forward they explain some of the back story on Hiro.
