Hot on the heels of the beginning of the "Clear Card Arc" in Cardcaptor Sakura's return to the pages of Nakayoshi magazine, there's even more big news: a new anime is on the way, too!

There's no information on when it will air or whether it will be aired on television or direct-to-video -- simply that "a new anime is underway." Will it be an adaptation of or tie-in with the current Clear Card Arc? A remake? Or something else entirely?

Only time will tell, but with everything currently going on, it looks like CLAMP is pulling out all the stops for the manga's 20th anniversary.
