Rock and Roll Dreams Come True in 3rd "BanG! Dream" Preview

Japanese broadcast schedule also released for mixed media project about girls forming a rock band

A new trailer and the Japanese broadcast schedule for the anime version of BanG Dream! - an upcoming mixed media project about a group of girls forming a rock band - are now available online. 

 

 

BanG Dream! will broadcast in Japan according to the following schedule:

 

  • AbemaTV: every Saturday during the 22:00 time slot beginning on January 21, 2017.
  • Tokyo MX: every Saturday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on January 21, 2017. (A repeat broadcast will take place on Sundays during the 11:00 time slot beginning on January 22, 2017.)
  • Sun TV: every Saturday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on January 21, 2017.
  • KBS Kyoto: every Saturday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on January 21, 2017.
  • AT-X: every Saturday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on January 21, 2017.
  • TV Aichi: every Sundary during the 25:05 time slot beginning on January 22, 2017.
  • Teletama (TV Saitama): every Monday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on January 23, 2017.
  • BS11: every Monday during the 26:00 time slot beginning on January 23, 2017.
  • BS Fuji: every Tuesday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on January 24, 2017.
  • tvk (TV Kanagawa): every Wednesday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on January 25, 2017.
  • Miyagi TV: every Friday during the 26:30 time slot beginning on January 27, 2017.

 

(Please note that some Japanese broadcast schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 26:30 time slot on Friday is actually at 2:30 AM JST on Saturday morning.)

 


The BanG Dream! mixed media project includes includes music videos, a manga, a 2017 TV anime, and live concerts featuring the voice actors performing in character as the girl band Poppin'Party.


 

The BanG Dream! TV anime is directed by Atsuhi Otsuki and features animation by ISSEN x XEBEC. The story follows Kasumi Toyama, a high school student who decides to become a juke box hero after purchasing a star-shaped guitar from a secondhand store. Together with four other girls, she forms a rock band named Poppin'Party.
