GKIDS and Fathom Events bring Studio Trigger's theatrical anime film back for one day only due to popular demand
Due to popular demand, PROMARE - the first theatrical length anime film from director Hiroyuki Imaishi and Studio TRIGGER - is heading back to U.S. theaters for a special encore performance on December 08, 2019, thanks to GKIDS and Fathom Events.
The special, one day engagement - entitled "PROMARE Redux" - will feature a screening of the film in the original Japanese language with English subtitles as well as all new bonus video material. The "PROMARE Redux" event will screen at select theaters on December 08, 2019, at 12:55 local time. GKIDS describes the story of PROMARE as follows:
Thirty years has passed since the appearance of the Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves Mad Burnish appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team Burning Rescue, and Lio Fotia, the leader of Mad Burnish begins.
