Isekai Life is the Bear Necessities in Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear TV Anime Trailer

Japanese TV schedule revealed for upcoming unbearably cute fantasy light novel adaptation

Yuna, the bear-suited protagonist of the upcoming Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear TV anime, devours a fried egg in a scene from the latest trailer.

Suit up in your bear pajamas and leave your worries behind, because a new trailer and the Japanese TV schedule have been published for Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, an upcoming TV anime based on the series of isekai fantasy light novels written by Kumanano and illustrated by 029 about a girl who ends up transported into the world of her favorite VRMMORPG while clad in a cute but overpowered bear suit.

The original Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear light novels are published in Japan by Shufu to Seikatsu-sha, and an English language version of the series is also being published by Seven Seas Entertainment, who describe the story as follows:

Fifteen-year-old Yuna prefers staying home and obsessively playing her favorite VRMMO to doing anything else, including going to school. When a strange new update gives her a one-of-a-kind bear outfit that comes with overpowered abilities, Yuna is torn: the outfit is unbearably cute, but too embarrassing to wear in-game. But then she suddenly finds herself transported to a world like the game, facing down monsters and magic for real, and the bear suit becomes the best weapon she has!

The latest key visual for the upcoming Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear TV anime, featuring the main character, Yuna, summoning a bear-shaped fireball while surrounded by her friends while a pair of menacing eyes glimmer in the background.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is directed by Yuu Nobuta and features animation production by EMT Squared. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:

  • AT-X: every Wednesday during the 21:00 time slot beginning on October 07, 2020.
  • TOKYO MX: every Wednesday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on October 07, 2020.

  • Sun TV: every Thursday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on October 08, 2020.
  • KBS Kyoto: every Friday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on October 09, 2020.
