Demon Slayer Video Game Announces PS5, Xbox Series, PC Release With New Ufotable Drawn Visual

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Kepputan

 

The first full video game for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise is on its way sometime in 2021, so to get fans excited, an official Twitter account for Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Kepputan was opened with a slew of new visuals from the game (including a key visual drawn by Ufotable!) and the announcement of the release on more consoles!

It was revealed that the CyberConnect2 developed Demon Slayer video game, which is known for its work on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series, will be coming out on more consoles than just the previously announced PlayStation 4. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Kepputan will further be released on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and is still scheduled for 2021.

 

The game will let players "relive" the story of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime series through the video game medium. It'll also feature a versus mode where players can pit characters from the anime series against each other both online and offline.
