Kickstarter campaign scheduled in 2022 for releases in English, French, and Italian

Milan-based game / graphic designers Mana Project Studios has announced that they are working to develop a tabletop roleplaying game based on Sunrise's classic genre-bending science fiction TV anime, Cowboy Bebop. The project is a joint effort with French game makers Don't Panic Games and in partnership with Sunrise.

The project is gearing up for a crowdfunding campaign that will launch in 2022, with the final product tentatively scheduled to ship that same year. The game will be published in English, French, and Italian language editions. No further details about Cowboy Bebop, the Role-playing Game have yet been revealed.

Originally broadcast in 1998, Cowboy Bebop is directed by Shinichiro Watanabe and features animation production by Sunrise. The series is currently available in the United States via Funimation, who describe the story of Cowboy Bebop as follows:

The Bebop crew is just trying to make a buck, and they’re the most entertaining gang of bounty hunters in the year 2071.
