    "Violet Evergarden The Movie" has surpassed the 1.5 billion yen mark

    The momentum doesn't look like it's going to stop for a while. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train earned an impressive 3.041 billion yen on 2.273 million admissions even on its second Saturday and Sunday, becoming the top-grossing film in Japan for two consecutive weeks.     Japanese game company Visual Arts has launched a new mixed-media project Prima Doll. Its stroy centers on automata girls who were created to be used as weapons in the great war that just ended a few years ago and now work at a cafe named "Kuroneko-tei."     According to the latest Oricon sales report, anison singer LiSA's 17th single "Homura" sold an impressive 42,000 units even in its second week of release and became the top-selling single of in Japan for two consecutive weeks. The song featured in the clip, "Saikai (produced by Ayase)" is written/composed/arranged by a well-known vocaloid song creator Ayase ("Sentensei Assault Girl" by Hatsune Miku).   • Ching Nakamura's Drama Manga Gunjo Gets Live-action Adaptation on Netflix in Spring 2021

    Ching Nakamura's lesbian drama manga Gunjo will be adapted into a live-action drama on Netflix for a worldwide release in the spring of 2021. The new title for the adaptation is Kanojo (She). Kiko Mizuhara (Mikasa in the Attack on Titan live-action films) and Honami Sato (the drummer of Japanese rock band Gesu no Kiwami Otome) are set to play its two female lead characters.
