    Finally a good Isekai
I've been reading the manga, so I have a bit of insight on this. I read a lot of Isekai, and this ranks higher on the list than most. I'll try and avoid any spoilers.

MC is a very relatable character and his decisions make sense. He's not a depraved pervert, but he's not naive either. He attracts some younger companions, but as he says in the first episodes, is not a lolicon. He's more of a ...

Like the Manga, a relaxing power fantasy.
the biggest problem in this anime, same as it is in the manga, is that the main character is the least interesting character in the story. I get the concept, but it's an over saturated market in which all this has to offer is a slightly different kind of harm.

The big problem is that because the MC can master any skill as it shows up, any dramatic event that happens is going to be moot. He is a ...

    I gave it 9 episodes, I don't think I like it
I feel like I spent most of this anime waiting for something to happen. I am one of the fools who love Isekai. It is one of my favorite genres. This one just bores me. Feels like each time something exciting is going to happen and the plot is going to start, they go shopping and eat all of the wonderful meats. Yea meat! I love meat as much as the next guy, but I need more than watching children ...

    Casual Wish Fulfillment
Despite basically bringing nothing new to the table, this anime is likely to do well because it does a loved concept in a way that doesn't scare anyone off. You probably won't find a moving story, characters with depth, or any sort of realism, but strangely that seems to be a strength of the show. There is so little going on that you can kinda turn your brain off and just watch things happen. The ...

    No action, relaxed romp
I genuinely liked the slow pacing of this anime for the most part. No overarching plot, no desperate mission to save the world, no grand mission. He's just a normal person, not a hero but still with the basic morals of our world. The rather aimless nature of each episode actually drew me into the world even more. I must admit the harem-but-not-a-harem is a bit weird at first but the show really ...

Boring Me to Death That Started With a Death March.
I expected an over the top wish-fulfillment anime going into it and that's what I got.
It had enjoyable elements and promising plot points but as its gone on its devolved, for me, into a-harem-that's-not-a-harem-but-totally-is far too quickly.
I feel they introduced too many characters who seem to be there just to check a box on the harem list instead of being actually meaningful in anyway. ...

Revised for the first three episodes ( LN reader )
Please Note This first three episode only cover the prologue and up the introduction of the Seiyruu City arc as well as the introduction of the labyrinth exploration in Seiyruu city in the first Light Novel ( PACING PICKS UP IN EPISODE THREE A LOT COMPARED TO SOURCE MATERIAL)
Having read the first three Light Novels I didn't know what to expect with the first episode going into this and I ...

Man leaves soul crushing job behind, reclaims youth, and starts a harem.
Man leaves soul crushing job behind, reclaims youth, and starts a harem. This is pandering the a very specific sort of person. Fortunately, that person is me. The slavery aspect is super gross though, so I figure I can find better pandering shows out there. It's pretty run of the mill for this genre. Still, if this is your jam, give it a watch.

    Fun, light entertainment/power fantasy (revised)
After finishing the season, I have to modify my stance a bit. While I've found most of the series enjoyable, especially the opening episodes, the later down the line it became much more stale and fanservice'y, going only slightly above In Another World With my Smartphone. In general:

+ The RPG setting and gamey touches were consistently fun and creative.
    + The adventure/exploration stuff was ...

Very boring plot, No defined genre
I thouroughly enjoyed the beginning up until the dragon-thing appeared that was attacking the city. When that happened I was like "oh boy, something interesting is about to happen!", but nothing did happen. I really wanted to see the protagonist use his O.P. skills to overcome a great evil or struggle... or at least fight some more monsters.... Instead he uses them to make a harem of slave girls ...
