  • Surprisingly well thought
App themed non-realistic anime today often has the shortcoming of being illogical, and this anime has the problem, too; however, what this show doesn't lack is taking good advantage of the wild imagination and connection by not being too logical, which many app themed non-realistic anime fail to do.

From one app to another through the show, plots are connected smoothly, and helped with ...

The show is good, but the choice to ditch digimon is odd and frustrating
It's a digimon show with... appmon and not digimon. Huh? It's sad to miss out on a lot of cool digimon, and the appmon designs lack the same feeling and variety. The shortform review of Digimon Universe Appli Monsters? It's the best Digimon show in literally a decade, and ...

The true digimon show back to form
I don't usually get passionate but Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters (also known as Appmon) is one of those passions that always makes me smile. It takes qualities from Adventure, Tamers, and I'd even say Savers and ties them well together. The show starts of slow, focused on Monster of the Week until episode 13-14 where it slowly breaks from it then dives into plot on from episode 19 but even ...
