  • Fun and service aplenty, but lacking in real plot
If you're looking for a series to just sit back and relax to then this is will work for you. Has some good laughs and lots of fun moments. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a Neko based fanservice anime. The reason why I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is almost no meaningful plot in season 2, and season 1 didn't really have enough. Personally, without at least some ...

  • Entering the World of Flonyarde
I remember seeing a bit of the first episode in the past and never got interested in this series until years later. And boy was I thrown for a ride.

On basic appearances, the characters seem (and sometimes act) cookie cutter and plain, the story tends to run around wildly without focus at times, out of serious moments, and It almost seems wierd without context or experience of different ...

  • Unique Plot, Professional Characterization
This is one of the best (probably the best) anime I have ever watched. Each episode makes me happy lifts up my spirits. I ALMOST cried when they rescued the baby fox, if an anime almost made me cry, it is VERY good. All of the characters are very likable, friend or foe, villain or hero (pun intended, you'll get it once you watch the first episode), and are also very well designed, cute and ...

  • Good, Clean, Simple Fun!
You can read plenty of other good detailed reviews on this show if that's what you are looking for.

Here's the short version: It's colorful, sometimes silly, always cute, and both the action and general attitudes of the characters just make it really fun to watch. There's nothing earth shattering or terribly original, and if middle school MCs worry you then put your mind at ease because they ...

  • the most shoujo shounen anime I've ever seen
Super cute, very fluffy, and TONS of fun, Dog Days is a great feel-good fun romp through a world where the "wars" are mostly for fun and even demons aren't as bad as they seem. Not particularly heavy on the plot, but I honestly prefer the fluff here to most other "serious" anime with too much filler. Lots of fanservice but not in a super perverted way. Reminds me a bit of Tenchi Muyo with the main ...

  • I felt like I was there!
This is the type of anime that I always feel sad parting with. It was organized very well, they develop the characters perfectly! This made me feel like I was in the anime too, fight along side them. I felt angry at some parts, sad at other parts, and happy on most! They controlled my emotions really well!

    Dog Days Finale Review
[This was originally a blog post found on my blog MoeMonster, but has been moved to Konseptual.com.]

Our adventuring days are coming to a close as Shinku will surely be going home in this season finale. Oh Dog Days, to quote Eclair, “I have no confidence that I’ll remember you.” With that in mind, let me quickly give my final thoughts while I do still remember.

    There’s ...
