  • An amazingly well done and exciting adventure - truly outstanding.
This anime is really outstanding for me; I really felt that sense of adventure and the idea of going on a journey. This adventurous feel is created throughout all the episodes.
Every single episode significant issues or events take place and we see the cast grow, develop and learn - especially about each other. This is done seamlessly in a way that provides the audience with insight about the ...

  • Bittersweet slice of life
A sweet little anime that explores the journey of a lonely girl coming to terms with loss and moving on, with the help of new found friends and a grand adventure.

A typical slice of life, with it's own little twist. If you enjoy stories about teens finding their feet in the world then you'll enjoy this.

  • Absolutely Fantastic!
Before this started, seeing the previews of this season's anime, I passed this over. I thought it'd be boring. It wasn't about anything I thought I'd like, you know? Even so, I watched a short preview video and was very impressed by the quality of animation, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm very happy that I did. Still unsure if I'd enjoy this or not, I completely fell head over heels for it ...

  • Jules Verne for the 21st century
This show is really powerful stuff. It manages to balance some the wonderful with a touch of the everyday.

I heard Professor Brian Cox on the radio talking about how he likes to see science as being a part of Romanticism, and this show fits perfectly into that. The book-within-the-show called "A Place Further Than The Universe" is written by someone with a poetic sensibility, with some lovely ...

  • I think I understand Moe now.
Slice of life anime has been gripping me all season. But this show is everything to me, it brightens my tuesdays! It's been a while since an anime had me so gripped and excited that I can't even explain it, but still I want to get people to watch it. Maybe this is what Moe means.

MADHOUSE can do any genre and make it shine. Thank you to Crunchyroll for making this series available to my region ...

  • Casual yet trying to go above the limits
Despite being casual, slice-of-life-like, and many of casual shows never going above that line of mediocre unlike fantasy or sci-fi shows that always want to cross, exceed or shatter that limit, it is very epic in certain ways. Its only downside is how pretentious and undramatic, almost boring it can be at times, but well... apart from those, it's softly epic, casual anime. Quite watchable and ...
